Luna Weighted Blankets use glass beads surrounded by an OEKO-TEX certified organic cotton cover. Each blanket features seven layers of beads and cotton fabric to ensure even weight distribution. For a relatively affordable weighted blanket, the Luna gets high marks from our testers, in large part for the variety of weight and size options. The Luna Weighted Blanket is fully machine washable. The manufacturer recommends washing in cold or warm water on the gentle setting with a mild detergent. Weighted blankets should be hung to dry, but can be tumble dried on low if necessary.
Because of their weight, not all home washing machines are capable of washing weighted blankets without becoming off balance. For that reason, Luna recommends taking larger or heavier blankets to the laundromat for washing in a heavy duty machine. Another option is to use a separate cover, which can be easily washed and dried in a home machine as needed.

What Is the Delivery Policy?
Luna delivers blankets to customers in the U.S. Canadian customers may order blankets via the Canadian shopping site. The company charges shipping based on the weight and delivery address of the order, although third-party sellers may offer free shipping. If your package is misdirected due to an incorrect address, and the company must contact a shipping partner to correct the information, you’ll be charged a $25 fee.
