The Titan from Brooklyn Bedding is a memory foam hybrid specifically designed to accommodate heavier individuals. The mattress is constructed with ‘Firm’ comfort layers of gel memory foam and TitanFlex polyfoam, while pocketed coils and a base layer of high-density polyfoam reinforce the bed to help maintain a flat, supportive surface for all sleepers.
The Titan also sleeps fairly cool due to good air circulation in the coil layer, which helps the rest of the bed maintain a comfortable temperature. The thick comfort system also isolates motion transfer very well and the mattress produces very little noise when bearing weight; this makes the Titan suitable for couples, particularly if one or both of the sleepers awaken easily due to movement or noise.
Compared to other hybrids, the Titan has a low price-point. It is also backed by a longer-than-average 120-night sleep trial, as well as a 10-year warranty. Brooklyn Bedding offers free shipping to customers in the contiguous U.S., and will also ship mattresses to Alaska, Hawaii, and Canada for an extra charge.

What Type of Sleeper Is Best Suited for a Titan Mattress?
Based on our customer feedback, Titan mattresses have received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions. Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses. Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a mattress.
The Titan is designed for heavier sleepers (more than 230 pounds); not surprisingly, sleepers in this group – particularly side and back sleepers – have awarded very favorable ratings to the mattress. Lighter individuals may not experience as much conforming and pressure relief, but the Titan is suitable for most sleepers under 230 pounds who prefer firmer surfaces. The Titan is also a good option for stomach sleepers, who tend to feel most comfortable on firm beds.
Our testing process found Titan mattresses should also be great for you if…
You are looking for a hybrid mattress with a below-average price-point
You tend to sleep hot
You want an even, supportive mattress that conforms very little
You prefer to sleep on beds with average thickness profiles
In terms of firmness the Titan is considered ‘Firm,’ or an 8 on the 1-10 firmness scale. The table below includes a detailed breakdown of the Titan’s firmness, thickness, and composition specifications.

This warranty is entirely nonprorated.
Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase. Brooklyn Bedding will, at its sole option, repair or replace mattresses with defects for as long as the warranty is valid.
Warranty coverage is contingent on proper foundational support. Per Brooklyn Bedding: ‘Brooklyn Bedding mattresses have been designed to be used on foundations with solid support with little or no give. This includes slatted wood or metal foundations with slats no more than 4? apart, wood or metal box foundations, and solid wood or metal platforms. Substitution or use of improper foundations such as old box springs (5+ years or more) without solid support, slatted wood or metal foundations with slats more than 4? apart, will void your mattress warranty, and all other warranties expressed or implied.’
The warranty will cover the following defects:
Sagging or body indentations that measure one inch (1″) or deeper.
Defects in the mattress that cause the material to split or crack.
The warranty will not cover the following:
Sagging or indentations that do not measure one inch (1″) or deeper, or normal increases in softness of the mattress material. These issues are considered normal wear and tear.
Stains, burns, and other types of physical damage that occur due to owner misuse, improper cleaning, or inadequate foundational support.
Defects that occur after the mattress was not removed from its packaging within 60 nights.
This warranty is exclusively offered to original owners who purchase their Titan from Brooklyn Bedding or an authorized retailer. Those who buy or acquire their mattress from the original owner or a non-authorized retailer will not qualify for warranty coverage.

How Does Titan Compare to Other Beds?
As any consumer does with a product they’re considering, our mattress assessments involve comparing them with other similar products. Be it composition, firmness, or price, we think it’s important to see how Titanmattresses stack up to other beds.
The Titan is one of the only beds sold today that is specifically designed for heavier individuals. Support is a key strength; a high-density polyfoam base layer bolsters the entire mattress to reduce sinkage around the edges and help the bed maintain an even, comfortable surface for sleepers in any weight group. The mattress has a long expected lifespan as a result. It also sleeps fairly cool, isolates motion well, and produces little noise. The Titan may not be suitable for lighter individuals seeking a mattress that conforms closely, but it is a good option for most back and stomach sleepers, as well as those weighing more than 230 pounds.
Below you will find a selection of comparable mattress models, including other beds that are designed for heavier individuals.
