Casper has been in the bedding industry since 2014, beginning with their popular line of mattresses. Since then, they’ve expanded production to include several styles of pillows, sheets, and even pet beds. This review exclusively looks at Casper’s newest product, the Casper Weighted Blanket.
Constructed with micro glass beads and a 100 percent cotton shell, the Casper weighted blanket is a quality product with an effective and practical design. Casper manages to pull this off while maintaining a competitive price, with the blanket falling at around an average price point for its type. The blanket comes exclusively in a navy blue color and a throw size that measures 50 by 70 inches.
Casper’s blanket comes in weights of 10, 15, and 20 pounds. When buying a weighted blanket, sleepers should select a weight that is about 10 percent of their body weight, meaning that the Casper Weighted Blanket is best for those who weigh between 100 and 200 pounds. If you fall in-between weight options, round up and go with the heavier blanket.
The outer shell of the blanket is made of quality, 100 percent cotton, making for a shell that is both durable and breathable. The inner filling is comprised of fine glass beads that are quilted into the blanket to maintain an even weight distribution and prevent spillage. Batted polyester filling between the beads and the shell adds to then warmth and general durability of the blanket.

Our testing found the Casper Weighted Blanket’s strengths lie in its durability, breathability, and quality inner fill components. The superior durability owes to the high-quality cotton cover and quilted design.
Additionally, the inner filling features layers of fluffy batting, ensuring the glass beads won’t leak. While the cover is durable, some sleepers may not find the material soft enough. If this is the case, we recommend using the blanket with a duvet cover.
This blanket is very breathable, making it ideal for those who sleep hot or those looking for a summer blanket. While the blanket is fairly warm, it may not hold up during the winter in colder climates.
The blanket can be spot cleaned as needed. Like most weighted blankets, machine-washing it could damage the washing machine and is not recommended.
The blanket is available in a limited weight range that may not be best suited for all sleepers, but those who weight between 100 and 200 pounds should find this blanket to be a suitable option.
