Lull Customer Satisfaction Rating Comparison

Lull Mattress Sleep Ratings

CategoryCriteriaLull RatingWhat Lull Users Say
Customer SatisfactionBased on data collection, this is an overall customer sentiment regarding the Lull mattress.71%Lull mattresses have earned a slightly below-average customer rating compared to other memory foam mattresses.
Durability Memory foam is engineered to provide a comfortable, conforming sleep surface that retains its original shape over time, but indentations are to be expected.FairLull mattresses appear to have comparable lifespans to other memory foam models, but the company has been in business for fewer than three years and the overall lifespan of these mattresses has not yet been assessed.
Motion IsolationMemory foam mattresses have been touted for superior motion isolation, which means that motion does not occur throughout the mattress when someone gets up or shifts their position.Very GoodLull mattresses feature two layers of memory foam that absorb and isolate motion transfer to a significant extent, according to owners.
Sex Many memory foam users report that these mattresses are not very conducive for sex due to the lack of responsiveness, which can create a feeling of ‘fighting’ the mattress.FairLike most memory foam mattresses, Lull models may not be responsive or bouncy enough for some couples.
ConformingMemory foam mattresses are engineered to conform to the sleeper’s figure, creating a cradle-shaped impression that aligns the spine and targets pressure points.GoodLull mattresses conform closely to sleeper’s figures and alleviate pressure points to some extent — but those with chronic pain or pressure may find more relief from a less firm mattress.
Temperature NeutralityMemory foam retains more body heat than other mattress materials, and users often ‘sleep hot’ as a result.FairLull mattresses are advertised with a top layer of ‘cooling gel memory foam’, but owners report these mattresses sleep as warm as other models with standard memory foam.
Off-gassingSome mattresses emit particles when they are unpackaged, accompanied by unpleasant ‘off-gassing’ smells that can last for days.FairSome off-gassing is to be expected when the mattress is new, but odors from Lull models will usually dissipate within a few days.
Edge SupportBecause of their construction, memory foam mattresses often feature little to no edge support.PoorLike many other memory foam models, Lull mattresses offer little to no edge support; premature sinkage is common at the edges where people tend to sit.
NoiseMemory foam mattresses create little to no noise, due to their lack of springs, coils, and other metal componentsExcellentLull mattresses are virtually silent when bearing weight.
Ease of Moving and RotatingMemory foam mattresses tend to be lighter, which makes them easier to move. They never need to be flipped, since only one side is designed for sleeping.Very GoodA Queen-size Lull mattress weighs less than 70 pounds, which is light by memory foam mattress standards.

  2. Customers who choose to return their Lull mattress will receive a full product refund, and will also receive free mattress pickup and removal services. Lull owners do not need to keep their original mattress box, as new packaging will be provided for the mattress removal.
  3. Individual households are eligible for a maximum of two mattress returns.

Warranty: Lull offers a 10-year limited warranty for all mattresses.

  1. Warranty coverage begins on the date of original purchase. Lull will repair or replace all mattresses that are deemed defective for as long as the warranty is valid.

  3. The warranty will cover the following defects.
    • Visible indentations or sagging in the sleep surface that measure one inch (1″) or deeper and have not been caused by improper foundational support.
    • Manufacturing flaws in the cover zipper, although the warranty will not cover zippers that are broken or damaged due to misuse.
    • Tears, stitch unraveling, and other product flaws that do not result from owner misuse.
  4. The warranty will not cover the following:
    • Indentations and sagging that do not measure one inch (1″) or deeper; this is considered ‘normal wear and tear’.
    • ‘Minor imperfections’, including ‘cosmetic flaws’.
    • Stains, tears, burns, discolorations, and other types of damage that either appear naturally over time or are directly caused by the owner.
    • Damage caused by animals, pests, or children.
    • ‘Naturally occurring aromas’ from the mattress materials, including foam and cotton.
    • Claims filed due to changes in the owner’s comfort preferences.
    • Claims filed by mattress owners due to ‘allergies or sensitivities’ to mattress materials.
  5. Warranty coverage is extended to customers who purchase a new Lull mattress from Amazon.com; manufacturer’s warranty requests are coordinated through Amazon customer service.
  6. In order to file a claim, customers must email the following to Lull:
    • A written description of the mattress defect or damage.
    • A copy of the original receipt or proof of purchase.
    • A photograph of the defect or damage.
