Set-Up and Care Instructions
The set-up process for ViscoSoft toppers is as follows:
All toppers ship compressed in a box. Take care not to cut the topper when opening the box.
Two ViscoSoft toppers – the Serene Memory Foam Hybrid and Serene Latex Hybrid – ship with the topper and pillow-top cover not assembled. To assemble these toppers, lay the pillow-top cover over the latex/foam layer and insert the layer using straps located inside the cover. This will keep the topper layer in place. Then, use the cover’s elastic skirting to fix the topper around all four mattress edges. These toppers each have a pocket depth of about 14 inches.
The other three ViscoSoft toppers do not need to be assembled. For best results, place directly on the mattress and cover with sheets.
The cleaning and care process for ViscoSoft toppers is as follows:
The memory foam and latex components of ViscoSoft toppers cannot be washed or dried in machines. These layers should only be spot-cleaned with warm water and dish detergent.
The mattress cover should be machine-washed in cold water on a gentle cycle, then tumble dried on a low setting. The cover should not be ironed or dry cleaned.
