As residents of one of the nation’s technology hubs, San Francisco shoppers don’t shy away from purchasing everything from Indian food to funky-patterned socks online. But even in tech-centric San Francisco and Silicon Valley, there are shoppers who prefer to do their mattress shopping the old-fashioned way: in a mattress store.
Despite perks like lengthy, no-risk sleep trials and free shipping and returns associated with e-mattress shopping, many shoppers prefer the in-person experience. In-store shopping comes with clear advantages, including the ability to speak with experienced salespeople and try out beds before taking one home.
Happily, if you are a loyal in-store shopper in the San Francisco area, you have a variety of excellent options for brick-and-mortar mattress buying. Explore showrooms, retail chains, and independent stores below in our complete guide to San Francisco mattress stores.
Ever innovating, online mattress startups have begun to experiment with in-store shopping options.
