Linenspa Mattress Reviews

Linenspa Mattress Reviews

The Bottom Line.

  • Linenspa’s mattresses include a memory foam hybrid with 3 firmness options and a gel-infused memory foam hybrid with a ‘Soft’ feel.
  • Very low price-points for all mattress models.
  • Other beds from Linenspa include a blended latex hybrid with a ‘Medium Firm’ feel and an ultra-firm, low-profile innerspring.

Overview

Overview

Linenspa is a U.S.-based mattress and bedding product manufacturer. The company currently offers five individual mattress models designed for adults.

  • The 8-Inch Memory Foam Hybrid is constructed with a polyfoam comfort layer and a Bonnell coil support core. The quilted cover is padded with memory foam for added cushioning. It is considered ‘Medium Firm,’ or a 6.5 on the 1-10 firmness scale. Please note: because it contains steel-tempered Bonnell coils – not pocketed coils – this bed is technically an innerspring, not a hybrid.
  • The 10-Inch Memory Foam Hybrid is similar to its 8″ counterpart, but has an additional polyfoam layer for extra cushioning and sleeper support. This bed is considered ‘Medium’ (5.5). This mattress also has Bonnell coils, technically making it an innerspring.
  • The 12-Inch Gel Memory Foam Hybrid has a gel memory foam comfort layer and a polyfoam transitional layer. It also has pocketed coils, making it a hybrid (unlike the previous two models). It is considered ‘Soft’ (3.5).
  • The 10-Inch Latex Hybrid is made with a comfort layer of blended polyfoam and latex, along with a foam-quilted cover and a pocketed coil support core. It is considered ‘Medium Firm’ (6.5).
  • The 6-Inch Innerspring does not have a traditional comfort layer, but its cover is quilted with foam for extra padding. It also contains steel-tempered Bonnell coils in the support core. The bed is considered ‘Firm’ (7.5).

Please note: Other Linenspa models may be available for sale through Amazon.com and other third-party retailers, even though Linenspa has discontinued production of these beds.

Linenspa’s mattresses includes multiple firmness and thickness settings; the selection should be able to accommodate most sleepers regardless of their weight, sleep position, or comfort preferences. Linenspa beds are also available at price-points that are considered very below-average. All innersprings and hybrids circulate air fairly well, resulting in cooler sleep for most, and models with thicker comfort layers provide consistent body conforming, pain/pressure relief, and decent motion isolation.

Linenspa offers free and flat-rate shipping anywhere in the contiguous U.S. Each bed is backed by a 30-night sleep trial and a 10-year warranty. Read on to learn more about Linenspa mattresses in terms of construction, pricing, and other important buying factors. This guide also includes an overview of the company’s shipping, return, and warranty policies, along with some similar mattress recommendations.

What Type of Sleeper Is Best Suited to a Linenspa Mattress?

Based on our customer feedback and internal testing, Linenspa mattresses have received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions.

Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses.

Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a mattress.

For more information on sleeping positions please see our guides for side, back, stomach and combination sleepers.

The optimal Linenspa mattress for any given sleeper will depend on his/her weight and preferred position.

The 12-Inch Gel Memory Foam Hybrid is the softest option, making it ideal for side sleepers and others who weigh less than 130 pounds.

The 8-Inch and 10-Inch Memory Foam Hybrid, as well as the 10-Inch Latex Hybrid, offer ‘Medium’ to ‘Medium Firm’ feels; these beds are ideal for side and back sleepers who weigh between 130 and 230 lbs.

Lastly, the 6-Inch Innerspring is Linenspa’s firmest bed; it is most suitable for back and side sleepers who weigh more than 230 lbs.

Linenspa Mattress Recommendations

  • You want to purchase a mattress with a below-average price-point
  • You tend to sleep hot
  • You’re looking for a bed measuring between 6″ and 12″ thick

Compare Mattresses

How Do Linenspa Mattresses Compare to Other Beds?

As any consumer does with a product they’re considering, our mattress assessments naturally involve comparing them with other similar products. Be it composition, firmness, or price, we think it’s important to see how Linenspa mattresses stack up to other beds.

Linenspa offers a wide selection of mattress thickness, firmness, and composition options.

The lower-profile innerspring models are the firmest beds, making them most suitable for heavier people and back/stomach sleepers. The thicker beds are also the softest options, and are optimal for lighter people and side sleepers.

All Linenspa mattresses provide great temperature neutrality, and their price-points are very low compared to comparable beds. However, durability is fair at best and the 30-night sleep trial is one of the shortest trial periods offered anywhere.
