King Koil will, at their sole discretion, choose to repair or replace all mattresses that are deemed defective. Owners will be responsible for all transportation, labor, and handling charges associated with mattress repairs or replacements, or the cost of replacing a mattress if it occurs during a prorated coverage period (whatever is the cheapest option).
The warranty will cover the following product defects:
Visible sagging or indentations that measure a half-inch (1/2″) or deeper in the sleep surface of a mattress with a 25-year warranty; or measure one and a half inches (1 1/2″) or deeper in the sleep surface of a mattress with a 10-year warranty.
Mattress coils that are broken or protruding through the fabric.
The warranty will not cover the following:
Indentations or sagging that measure less than a half-inch (1/2″) in the sleep surface of a mattress with a 25-year warranty; or less than one and a half inches (1 1/2″) in the sleep surface of a mattress with a 10-year warranty. Additionally, normal increases in mattress softness that do not affect its pressure-relieving abilities. These issues are all considered standard wear and tear.
‘Bent border wires’ that have become misshapen since the mattress was delivered.
Repair or replacement requests that occur due to changes in the owner’s height or comfort preferences.
Burns, cuts, tears, stains, and other types of physical damage that occur due to owner misuse, improper cleaning, and/or inadequate foundational support.
Torn handles, damages sides, and other types of wear that occur due to the mattress being carried after its initial delivery.
Warranty coverage is exclusively extended to original owners who purchase their mattress directly from King Koil or one of the company’s authorized retailers. Those who buy or acquire their mattress from the original owner or an unauthorized retailer will do so as is, and will not be eligible for warranty protection.
