      • The HR300, HR320, and HR340 are covered under a 5-year warranty. The first year of the warranty is nonprorated, and the last four years of the warranty are prorated.
      • The Cool Gel, Two-Sided, HR400, HR440, HR500, San Martin, Trinidad and Aruba mattresses are covered under a 10-year warranty. Nonprorated and prorated coverage period may vary, but in most cases the warranty will include three years of nonprorated coverage and seven years of prorated coverage.
      • Prorated charges are calculated as follows: [Original Product Price] x [Number of Years Owned] ÷ [Warranty Period].
    3. Customers will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs associated with mattress repairs or replacements.
    4. Warranty coverage for King and Queen models is contingent on proper foundational support. These mattresses must be supported with a sturdy frame that either has a rigid center bar or at least five wooden slats evenly spaced no more than two inches apart and at least one center support leg. Failure to comply with these requirements may void the warranty.
    5. The warranty will cover the following defects:

    6. The warranty will not cover the following:
      • Sagging or indentations that do not measure at least one and a half inches (1 1/2″), or normal increases in mattress softness that do not affect its pressure-relieving abilities. These issues are considered normal wear and tear.
      • Repair or replacement requests that occur due to changes in the owner’s comfort preferences.
      • Burns, cuts, tears, stains, and other types of physical damage that occur due to owner misuse, improper cleaning, and/or inadequate foundational support.
    7. Warranty claims made outside the U.S. will not be honored.
    8. Warranty coverage is exclusively offered to the original owner that buys their mattress from Hampton & Rhodes, Mattress Firm, or another authorized retailer. Anyone who buys or acquires their mattress from the original owner or a non-authorized will not be eligible for warranty protection.
