- Bob’s Discount Furniture allows mattress buyers who live in delivery service areas to choose from four shipping options:
- Bob’s Delivery Service is a ‘white glove option’ that includes in-home assembly, packaging clean-up, and old mattress removal (provided it is in sanitary condition). This service is priced at a rate based on the total order price; the costs will range from $49.99 (for orders totaling $399 or less) to $329.99 (for orders totaling $2,900 or more). Under the current price structure, customers who purchase one mattress only should pay between $49.99 and $169.99.
- Bob’s Value Express will ship products via FedEx within five to seven business days of the original purchase; a Bob’s representative will contact customers within 24 hours of the original order to provide delivery details. This option is available at three flat pricing rates: $9.99, $19.99, or $29.99.
- Factory Direct Shipping is available through FedEx. These orders will generally ship within five to seven business days of the original purchase; a Bob’s representative will contact customers with delivery information within 24 hours of their order. This option also comes with pricing rates of $9.99, $19.99, or $29.99.
- Lastly, customers can qualify for reduced-rate shipping by purchasing a gift card of at least $25. The gift card must be bought separately from the mattress order. Two shipping options are available through the gift card purchase: free ground delivery from USPS Ground (which takes five to seven business days) or FedEx 2-day delivery for an additional fee of $9.50.
- Customers can monitor their delivery up to two days in advance of the arrival date using a tracking tool on the Bob’s Discount Furniture website. To track an item, simply input a current phone number and/or the order number.
- A Bob’s representative will contact customers no later than five days in advance of their delivery. Those who cannot receive their mattress on the proposed date will have the opportunity to reschedule. Changes to orders must be made within three days of the delivery date.
- Two days before the delivery, a Bob’s representative will contact the purchaser to provide a four-hour delivery time window; customers may be asked to provide an alternative delivery date/time in case of bad weather, vehicle problems, and other unexpected issues.
