Zenhaven vs. Loom & Leaf Mattress Overview
Saatva is an American online-only mattress retailer that was founded in 2010. Sleep Position Ratings
Zenhaven Mattress Sleeper Ratings
The Zenhaven mattress is a good option for average-weight people (between 130 and 230 pounds) who sleep in any position or a combination of positions. It is also a good choice for back sleepers of all weights. Average-weight people and back sleepers of all weights gave the Zenhaven the highest ratings.
The 100% Dunlop latex Zenhaven has good motion isolation and conforms to the body. These qualities make it a good mattress for couples who sleep together and do not want to be bothered by each other’s movements. It’s also a very quiet mattress, which is another plus for people sleeping with partners.
Loom & Leaf Mattress Sleeper Ratings
The Loom & Leaf mattress works well for side sleepers of all weights. It contours to the body while providing support that keeps the spine aligned. The Loom & Leaf mattress comes in two firmness levels, so people who sleep on their backs or stomachs should also be able to find comfort on one of the two firmness options.
The Loom & Leaf mattress is made of multiple types of memory foam, and people who like the feel of their mattress “hugging” them will enjoy how the foam conforms to the body. The Loom & Leaf mattress is ideal for those who want an affordable memory foam mattress and prefer to feel like they are sleeping “in” rather than “on” the mattress.

How Is the Zenhaven Built?
The Zenhaven mattress is built with 100% Dunlop latex covered in organic cotton. A firmer, denser latex makes up the support core. The mattress is flippable, with each side having a different firmness level. The difference in firmness is a result of the difference in the density of the comfort layer on each side. One side rates 4 (Medium-Soft), while the other rates 7 (Firm), on the 1-10 firmness scale.
Dunlop latex appeals to customers because of its durability, comfort, and eco-friendliness. It isolates motion well and is extremely quiet, making it a good choice for couples. It is also fairly temperature neutral. Dunlop latex is not very bouncy, however, so not everyone will prefer it for sex. It also has poor edge support, so it doesn’t work well for people who sit or sleep on the edge of the bed often.
How Is the Loom & Leaf Mattress Built?
The Loom & Leaf mattress is a memory foam mattress. The mattress is available in 5.5 (Medium) and 8 (Firm) options on the 1-10 firmness scale. The support core of the Loom & Leaf is made of two layers: 1.8 PCF polyfoam and 1.6 PCF polyfoam. These PCF measurements, or pounds per cubic feet, are considered medium foam densities. The comfort portion of the mattress is also made of two layers: 5 PCF gel memory foam and 4 PCF memory foam. These layers are also medium-density foam layers.
The Loom & Leaf mattress cover layer contains ? inch foam and covered by organic cotton. The foam keeps this mattress from being temperature neutral, and people who sleep hot might prefer another mattress. Since the Loom & Leaf mattress is all foam, it contours to the body well, which can provide comfort and pain relief to sleepers.

Trial Period Details
Saatva offers a 365-night sleep trial for the Zenhaven mattress.
The 365-day sleep trial begins the day your Zenhaven mattress is delivered, not the date of purchase. Customers who do not like their mattress for any reason may return or exchange it. A longer sleep trial gives customers the opportunity to “break in” their mattresses and better gauge if the mattress is a good fit for them long term.
Saatva will send their delivery team to pick up any unwanted mattresses within the trial period, although they do not resell these mattresses. Customers will have a $99 transportation cost deducted from their refund to cover this mattress pickup.
Saatva also offers refunds for mattresses and bases that do not fit into a customer’s home. These types of returns also come with a $99 fee.
Products that arrive damaged must be noted immediately and will be replaced or repaired without any cost to the customer.
Warranty
Zenhaven offers a lifetime warranty.
The Zenhaven mattress comes with a lifetime warranty. If your Zenhaven mattress experiences any defects within the first two years after delivery, Saatva will replace it with a brand new mattress at no charge.
If your Zenhaven mattress experiences defects more than 2 years after the delivery, Saatva will repair and recover the mattress for delivery fees only. The delivery fee is $149.
The Zenhaven’s warranty is limited to the original purchaser. Also, the warranty is void if the mattress is queen- or king-sized and has been been on a metal bed frame that only has four legs. The warranty similarly doesn’t apply if the mattress has been burned or improperly cleaned.
Saatva also offers a “Fairness Replacement Option” in which defective Zenhaven owners can obtain a new mattress at a discounted cost. They may also keep the original mattress at no extra charge.

Saatva offers a 365-night sleep trial for the Loom & Leaf mattress.
Saatva offers identical 365-night sleep trials for both the Zenhaven and Loom & Leaf mattresses. This sleep trial begins the day of delivery, not the day of purchase. Customers may exchange or return their mattresses for any reason within this trial period.
An extended sleep trial period is beneficial for customers, allowing them to “break in” a mattress and get a feel for how well the mattress works for them. The way a mattress feels the first few nights of sleeping might not be how it feels over time. An extended sleep trial lets customers feel confident that they will not end up with a mattress that is uncomfortable for their body or preferred sleep positions.
If a customer opts to return or exchange a mattress during the sleep trial, Saatva will pick up the mattress. The cost of this pickup is $99, which will be deducted from any refund given.
Warranty
Loom & Leaf offers a lifetime warranty.
If the mattress is defective within the first two years after delivery, Saatva will replace it with a brand new mattress at no cost. If the Loom & Leaf mattress is defective after the first two years, Saatva will repair and recover it. The customer will have to pay a $149 delivery fee.
The Loom & Leaf warranty is limited to the original purchaser. The warranty will be void if the mattress has been burned or otherwise abused. It will also be void if the mattress is a queen- or king-sized mattress that was put on a four-legged metal bed frame.
Saatva also offers a “Fairness Replacement Option,” for which owners of defective Loom & Leaf models may buy a new mattress at a discounted cost and keep the original for free.
