How Is the Casper Built?
The Casper has three layers of comfort foam that provides a medium firmness. The top and bottom layers are polyfoam and the middle layer is memory foam. A high-density polyfoam base layer reinforces the bed and helps maintain an even and supportive sleep surface. It also has a soft polyester cover.
Together, these layers provide conforming support to the body and encourage spinal alignment during sleep. All three layers of foam are open-cell, meaning they’re breathable and allow hot air to escape. The Casper sleeps fairly cool compared to other memory-foam mattress.
The Casper isolates motion well and is almost silent when bearing weight. The queen size weighs 71 pounds, which is quite light for a memory foam mattress. Because of this, it’s easy to rotate the mattress as recommended.
How Is the Puffy Built?
The Puffy mattress is constructed with three foam layers. Puffy’s “cooling cloud” top layer is a non-latex foam that promotes ventilation, releasing any hot air. The cooling cloud layer allows the Puffy mattress to sleep much cooler than other foam mattresses. The center foam layer provides pressure relief on areas like shoulders, hips, and knees, that can suffer on an uncomfortable mattress. The bottom layer is a firm core support that promotes spinal alignment while sleeping.
The Puffy mattress cover is soft polyester and is stain resistant and machine washable. All components of the Puffy mattress are made in the US. The queen-size weighs 69 pounds, fairly lightweight for a memory-foam mattress.

Puffy accepts returns after that breaking-in period until night 101.
