Tempur-Pedic first launched in 1992 and merged with the Sealy Corporation in 2012. How Is the Nectar Mattress Built?
The Nectar Mattress is built with a 3-inch comfort layer of gel memory foam and a 2-inch transitional layer of dense polyfoam. This 5-inch comfort system offers exceptional cushioning for side sleepers, while the ‘Medium Firm’ feel is suitable for most back and stomach sleepers.
The bed’s 7-inch support core is made from high-density polyfoam, which reinforces the sleep surface to cut down on sagging and indentations. Other benefits of the mattress include great motion isolation, no noise when bearing weight, and cooler-than-average temperatures due in part to the gel-infused layer. At 74 pounds, it is also very lightweight and easy to move.
How Is the Tempur-Adapt Mattress Built?
The TEMPUR-Adapt comes in all-foam and hybrid versions. Both have memory foam comfort layers offering a ‘Medium’ (5) feel and dual-layer SmartClimate covers, which allow the beds to sleep noticeably cool. The all-foam design has a support core made of high-density polyfoam; the hybrid design has pocketed coils encased in high-density foam. Both support systems help the mattress withstand early sagging, which can prolong their overall product lifespans.
Tempur-Pedic foams are considered highly durable compared to the materials found in competing beds. For this reason, the TEMPUR-Adapt has an exceptionally long expected lifespan. This sleep trial does not require a break-in period of any kind; customers may return their mattress at any point of the 365-night period and receive a full refund.
White Glove delivery and non-contiguous U.S. delivery charges are non-refundable. Apart from these charges, Nectar Sleep issues a full refund for all returns.
Those who buy their Nectar Mattress on Amazon.com do not qualify for the 365-night sleep trial; they receive a 180-night sleep trial instead.
Warranty
Nectar Sleep offers a lifetime warranty:
This warranty is completely non-prorated. During the first 10 years of ownership, Nectar Sleep will repair or replace a defective mattress at no extra cost to the bed’s owner. After 10 years, owners pay $50 shipping fees each way ($100 total) for repairs or replacements. These charges will be refunded if Nectar Sleep finds the mattress is defective.
Nectar Sleep will void the warranty if the mattress is not used with a firm, solid-surface foundation and damage occurs to the bed.
The warranty will cover the following defects:

The delivery policy for Nectar Mattresses is as follows:
Most customers receive their Nectar Mattress within five to seven business days after placing their order.
Nectar Sleep offers free standard shipping to customers in the contiguous U.S. Additionally, the company offers White Glove delivery – which includes in-home assembly – for a flat charge of $149. White Glove personnel will also remove one old mattress from the customer’s residence for an additional fee of $20 ($169 total).
How Is the Mattress Shipped?: Compressed, roll-packed, and shipped in a protective carrier bag. Tempur-Pedic offers a 90-night sleep trial for the TEMPUR-Adapt mattress.
This sleep trial requires a 30-night break-in period. Customers may not return their mattress for a refund until at least 30 consecutive nights have elapsed.
