What You Need to Know about Keetsa Hybrid Mattresses

Mattress Type and Components:

  • Keetsa offers two memory foam mattress models. These mattresses vary in terms of material composition and specifications, firmness rating, and price-point.
    • The Keetsa Cloud is constructed with two layers of memory foam in the comfort layer and a high-density polyfoam support core. The quilted cover is made of 100% organic cotton, and lined with polyester and wool fibers.
    • The Tea Leaf Supreme features a comfort layer with two individual layers of plant-based memory foam (or PLA). The support core is made of high-density polyfoam. The cover is rendered from a hemp fiber blend, and padded with polyester and wool-fiber lining.
  • Please note that Keetsa also offers hybrid mattresses. For more information, check out our Keetsa Hybrid Mattress Review.

  • Keetsa memory foam owners claim the Cloud and Tea Leaf Supreme mattresses offer abover-average motion isolation and produce little to no noise.
  • Keetsa offers a 12-year limited warranty for all mattresses; most competing mattress sellers offer no more than 10 years of nonprorated warranty coverage. Keetsa also provides a warranty for floor models, which is not commonly offered.
  • Because it is constructed from PLA memory foam, the Tea Leaf Supreme is a slightly greener alternative to other memory foam mattresses made from polyurethane-based foams.

  • Owner complaints include poor edge support, lack of responsiveness for sex, and difficulty when moving due to above-average mattress weight.
  • The 90-night sleep trial includes a mandatory 30-night break-in period; customers who do not wait 30 nights will not qualify for a full product refund. Additionally, those who return their mattress must pay a return processing fee that is roughly 10% of the original product price.
  • Keetsa memory foam mattresses are available in a total of five different sizes. Many competing mattress sellers offer additional sizes, such as Twin XL and Split Kings and Queens, that are not offered by Keetsa. This may be limiting for customers who prefer mattresses in alternative sizes.
  • The price-points for the Keetsa Cloud and Tea Leaf Supreme mattresses are above-average compared to comparable memory foam models.

Product and Price Range: Keetsa memory foam mattresses are available in five sizes: Twin, Full, Queen, King, and California King. Prices vary by both selected model and mattress size. All Keetsa mattresses are manufactured in China.

Where Do They Ship?: Keetsa ships mattresses anywhere within the United States and ‘most of Canada’.
Delivery Fee: Free shipping is available for customers in the contiguous 48 states and Canada. Customers in Alaska and Hawaii can contact Keetsa to receive a delivery price quote.

Delivery Policy: The delivery policy for Keetsa is as follows:

  • Most Keetsa orders are shipped through FedEx Ground. Deliveries to the contiguous U.S. and Canada typically take seven to 10 business days. Deliveries to Alaska and Hawaii typically take longer.
  • For Canadian deliveries, Keetsa will cover all duty and customs fees.
  • Customers should receive an order tracking number within one to two business days after their mattress has shipped.
  • Some customers living in metro areas like New York City, Los Angeles, and San Francisco may require ‘special delivery services‘. They have the option of ordering their mattress through the Keetsa brick-and-mortar showroom located in their respective metro area; ordering over the phone and in-person orders at the showrooms are both allowed. Keetsa notes that there is an additional fee for special delivery services.
  • Keetsa does not guarantee shipping times and is not responsible for delivery delays. Customers who face delays will be ‘promptly notified’.

Old Mattress Removal: Because they utilize FedEx Ground and other third-party couriers for their deliveries, Keetsa does not offer old mattress removal services.
Availability: Keetsa mattresses are available on the Keetsa website, as well as select authorized retailers; the Keetsa cloud is sold oh as well. Additionally, Keetsa operates brick-and-mortar showrooms in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Berkeley, California.

Sleep Trial and Warranty Information

Trial Period and Guarantee: Keetsa offers a 90-night sleep trial for all memory foam mattresses.

  1. The sleep trial includes a mandatory 30-night break-in period. Customers will not be eligible to return their mattress for a full product refund until they have tested out the mattress for at least 30 nights.
  2. Customers who are unsatisfied with their mattress can contact Keetsa for information about obtaining additional comfort layers.
  3. Those who return their mattress will be assessed a return processing fee that amounts to roughly 10% of the original product price.
  4. The 90-night trial period is exclusively extended to customers who purchase their mattress directly from Keetsa. Those who purchase their mattress from authorized retailers will be ineligible for this return, and should defer to the return policy of that particular retailer.

Warranty: Keetsa offers a 12-year limited warranty on all mattresses.

  1. Keetsa will, at their sole discretion, choose to repair or replace all mattresses that are deemed defective.
  2. In the event that a defective mattress or mattress component is no longer sold, Keetsa reserves the right to substitute the mattress or component with ‘comparable materials or models’. Replacing the mattress will not extend the original warranty, nor will it cause a new warranty to be created.
  3. Mattresses that have served as floor models in brick-and-mortar showrooms will receive one year of limited warranty coverage.
  4. Keetsa mattresses should not be used with certain bed frames. Per Keetsa: ‘Proper use means using the mattress on a firm, rigid and smooth surface that allows air ventilation and supports the entire mattress, including the center, such as a slatted bed platform, box spring, or Keetsa bed frame foundation. Keetsa mattresses are not designed for use on Murphy beds or adjustable beds, and usage of Keetsa mattresses on these types of beds voids the warranty’.
  5. The  warranty will cover the following mattress defects:
    • Seams that come out or come undone.
    • Visible indentations or impressions in the mattress surface that measure one and a half inches (1 1/2″) or deeper.
  6. The warranty will not cover the following:
    • Cosmetic changes in the mattress, normal increases in foam softness, or indentations that do not measure one and a half inches (1 1/2″) or deeper. These are all considered standard wear and tear.
    • Repair or replacement requests that occur due to changes in the owner’s comfort preferences.
    • Burns, stains, discolorations, cuts, and other types of damage that result from owner misuse and/or use of an improper mattress foundation.
    • Damage due to bedbugs, mold, or other types of infestation that occur due to unsanitary conditions and/or owner misuse.
    • Changes in bed height due to long-term use.
    • Increases in foam softness due to exposure to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  7. This warranty exclusively covers mattress repairs, replacements, and refunds at the original product price. Owners will be responsible for all shipping and transportation costs associated with repairing or replacing a mattress. In the event that a mattress is deemed defective, Keetsa will refund all transportation and mattress removal costs to the owner.
  8. Keetsa reserves the right to refuse to inspect mattresses that are ‘soiled, dampened, burned, stained, or infested with vermin’.
  9. This warranty is exclusively extended to original mattress owners that purchase new models from Keetsa or an authorized Keetsa retailer. Anyone who buys or acquires the mattress from the original owner or an unauthorized retailer, or buys a used mattress from Keetsa (such as a floor model), will not be eligible for 12-year warranty coverage.

Keetsa Mattress Sleep Ratings

CategoryCriteriaKeetsa Cloud RatingTea Leaf Supreme RatingWhat Keetsa Users Say
Customer SatisfactionBased on data collection, this is an overall customer sentiment regarding Keetsa mattresses.73%76%With respective customer ratings of 74% and 76%, the Keetsa Cloud and Tea Leaf Supreme mattresses have both earned above-average ratings for memory foam models.
Durability Memory foam is engineered to provide a comfortable, conforming sleep surface that retains its original shape over time, but indentations are to be expected.FairFairSagging and indentations during the first four years of use are commonly reported with both Keetsa memory foam mattresses, which is on par with most foam models.
Motion IsolationMemory foam mattresses have been touted for superior motion isolation, which means that motion does not occur throughout the mattress when someone gets up or shifts their position.Very GoodExcellentBoth Keetsa memory foam mattresses offer above-average motion isolation, but the Tea Leaf Supreme — thanks to its softer surface — is slightly better at absorbing and minimizing motion.
Sex Many memory foam users report that these mattresses are not very conducive for sex due to the lack of responsiveness, which can create a feeling of ‘fighting’ the mattress.FairFairAs with many other memory foam mattresses, neither the Keetsa Cloud nor the Tea Leaf Supreme are very responsive or bouncy, and may be inadequate for some couples.
ConformingMemory foam mattresses are engineered to conform to the sleeper’s figure, creating a cradle-shaped impression that aligns the spine and targets pressure points.GoodVery GoodThe Keetsa Cloud is a relatively firm mattress that conforms somewhat closely, but Tea Leaf Supreme owners report a closer feel that targets pressure points more effectively.
Temperature NeutralityMemory foam retains more body heat than other mattress materials, and users often ‘sleep hot’ as a result.FairFairKeetsa memory foam mattresses tend to trap heat, according to owners, causing them to sleep excessively warm.
Off-gassingSome mattresses emit particles when they are unpackaged, accompanied by unpleasant ‘off-gassing’ smells that can last for days.FairFairOff-gassing odors are a common complaint among memory foam mattress owners, and Keetsa’s models are no exception. Expect mild to moderate odors for at least a few days after the mattress arrives.
Edge SupportBecause of their construction, memory foam mattresses often feature little to no edge support.PoorPoorEdge support is a common complaint among Keetsa Cloud and Tea Leaf Supreme owners, and sinkage where people sit is also reported.
NoiseMemory foam mattresses create little to no noise, due to their lack of springs, coils, and other metal componentsExcellentExcellentBoth the Keetsa Cloud and the Tea Leaf Supreme are virtually silent when bearing weight.
Ease of Moving and RotatingMemory foam mattresses tend to be lighter, which makes them easier to move. They never need to be flipped, since only one side is designed for sleeping.FairPoorA Queen-size Keetsa Cloud weighs 90 pounds and a Queen-size Tea Leaf Supreme weighs 120 pounds; both are significantly heavier than the average memory foam mattress.
