Quick Summary

Also known for the orthopedic SpineAlign Pillow, SpineAlign is a U.S.-based company that currently offers two mattress models.

  • The Rest & Renew is a hybrid mattress measuring 11″ thick. It features comfort layers of ArcticPhase gel-infused foam and Energex polyfoam, along with a pocketed coil support core and a high-density polyfoam base. The mattress also has a quilted fabric cover infused with phase-change material (PCM). Three firmness options are available with the mattress: ‘Soft,’ or a 3 on the 1-10 firmness scale; ‘Medium’ (5); and ‘Firm’ (7).
  • The Luxury Hybrid has a 13.5″ profile. The comfort system includes layers of Energex polyfoam and ArcticPhase gel-infused foam, followed by a memory foam transitional layer. The pocketed coil support core measures 8″ thick and is reinforced with a high-density foam base. Like the Rest & Renew, the Luxury Hybrid also has a PCM cover and is available in ‘Soft’ (3), ‘Medium’ (5), and ‘Firm’ (7) settings.

Both SpineAlign mattresses offer consistent temperature neutrality thanks to their PCM covers and strong air circulation through the coil layers. Three firmness options also ensure most sleepers can find a suitable option regardless of their weight, sleep position, and comfort preferences. The beds offer strong edge support, as well.

The Rest & Renew’s price point is relatively low, while the Luxury Hybrid’s price is on par with that of the average hybrid. SpineAlign also offers free shipping anywhere in the contiguous U.S. Each bed is backed by a 100-night sleep trial and a 10-year warranty.

Read on to learn more about SpineAlign mattresses in terms of construction, pricing, and performance. This guide also includes an overview of the company’s shipping, return, and warranty policies, along with some similar mattress recommendations.

What Type of Sleeper Is Best Suited to a SpineAlign Mattress?

Based on our customer feedback, SpineAlign mattresses have received the following grades among sleepers of different weights and preferred sleep positions. Please note that these ratings are subjective, and that everyone has varying experiences on different mattresses. Sleeper comfort and spinal support are the most important factors when it comes to selecting a bed.

For more information on sleeping positions please see our guides for side, back, stomach and combination sleepers.

  • Rest & Renew
  • Luxury Hybrid
Weight Light Average Heavy
Sleep Position Less than 130 LBS 130 LBS - 230 LBS Greater than 230 LBS

Stomach

As you can see, both SpineAlign mattresses have earned positive ratings from sleepers across different weight and position groups. This is largely due to the wide firmness selection. Lightweight sleepers – particularly side sleepers – tend to prefer the ‘Soft’ setting because it cushions their shoulders and hips, leading to better spinal alignment.

The ‘Medium’ setting may be more suitable for sleepers who weigh 130 to 230 lbs. and prefer a balance of firmness and padding. Lastly, the ‘Firm’ option is best for heavier sleepers who find softer beds unsupportive and prone to sagging.

We Recommend a SpineAlign Mattress if...

  • You tend to sleep hot.
  • You prefer beds with thicker-than-average profiles.
  • You experience aches and pains in your shoulders, back, and other sensitive areas.

Compare Mattresses

How Do SpineAlign Mattresses Compare to Other Beds?

As any consumer does with a product they’re considering, our mattress assessments naturally involve comparing them with other similar products. Be it composition, firmness, or price, we think it’s important to see how SpineAlign mattresses stack up to other beds.

Firmness selection is a notable strength of both SpineAlign mattresses. By offering multiple settings, most sleepers can find a design that offers adequate support and comfort. The PCM covers are another benefit, especially for those who normally sleep too hot on foam comfort layers.

Other pros include resilient edge support and better-than-average motion isolation – though, at 100 pounds each in a Queen-size, the beds are fairly difficult to lift and move.
