Quick Overview

The Plank from Brooklyn Bedding is a flippable mixed foam mattress. Beneath a quilted memory foam cover lies one side features two inches (2″) of gel-infused TitanFlex polyfoam; this side is considered ‘Firm.’ The other side has seven inches (7″) of high-density polyfoam; this side is considered ‘Extra Firm.’

Additionally, both sides have quilted top layers for extra padding; the ‘Firm’ side has one and a half inches (1.5″) of quilted material, while the ‘Extra Firm’ side has a quilted layer measuring three-quarters of an inch (.75″). The mattress also has a breathable cotton-polyester cover that is ideal for hot sleepers. The Plank comes with the option of a cooling top panel cover for an added price.

The Plank is one of the firmest mattresses on the market today. Both sides of the bed are suitable for anyone who prefers exceptionally firm surfaces. As a result, the mattress is suitable for many stomach sleepers and people in the heavy weight group (more than 230 pounds). The Plank has a below-average price-point compared to other foam beds, and Brooklyn Bedding offers a 120-night sleep trial and 10-year warranty for the mattress.
