Made from 100% long-staple cotton, Brooklinen’s Classic Core sheets feature a 270-thread count percale weave. The all-natural breathable material is durable and cooling, making it ideal for customers who tend to sleep hot. While the company’s popular Luxe Sateen line is also made from long-staple cotton, these sheets feature a luxurious 480-thread count and sateen weave that gives them an elegant sheen. Both collections are available in more than 15 colors and patterns.
Brooklinen’s lightweight washed linen line is made from Belgian and French flax and dyed in small batches, giving each piece a unique flair. These ultra-soft sheets are made in Portugal and come in 10 different colors. Like the Classic Collection and the Luxe Sateen line, Brooklinen’s washed linen products are OEKO-TEX certified against harmful substances and meet strict global safety standards.
How Are Boll & Branch Sheets Made?
Boll & Branch’s Signature Soft and Percale lines are both made from 100 percent organic long-staple Fair Trade Certified cotton. However, the best-selling Signature line features a sateen weave, which leaves the sheets feeling extra soft and giving them a sheen. Customers can choose their Signature sheets in more than 12 colors and two styles. The Percale collection offers a smooth, crisp sleeping experience available in two styles and six stripes. Both lines are available in sets.
In addition, Boll & Branch offers a 100 percent woven linen option in a shore stripe pattern and a flannel set. Available in five colors and patterns, the flannel line is also made from 100 percent organic cotton.
Cleaning and Care for Brooklinen Sheets
With the right kind of care, Brooklinen sheets will get softer with every wash. The company suggests that customers machine wash sheets on a warm or cool setting. While customers are encouraged to line dry their sheets for best results, those who prefer to machine dry should do so on a low heat, low tumble setting.
Brooklinen also partners with a detergent brand called Laundress. Plant-based, gentle, and biodegradable, the line provides Brooklinen products with optimal care. Customers can purchase Laundress detergent, bleach alternative, fabric refresher spray, and wool and cashmere shampoo. Cleaning and Care for Boll & Branch Sheets
Boll & Branch sheets are easy to clean and feature simple care instructions, although laundering directions differ for cotton and linen items. Their white or light-colored Percale, Signature Soft, and Flannel sheets should be machine washed in warm water, while cold water is ideal for all other colors. These sheets can be dried on a medium setting and ironed as needed. Cotton items may develop a slight sheen after ironing.
The company’s 100 percent woven linen sheets may also be ironed after washing and drying. Linen should be laundered in cold water with similar colors and tumble-dried on low heat. Customers should remove their linen sheets from the dryer immediately after the cycle has completed.
