What You Need to Know about the Addable Mattress
Mattress Type and Components:
Addable offers memory foam mattresses.
The comfort layer features two components: a top layer of 4 PCF gel memory foam with an indentation load deflection (ILD) of 12; and a bottom layer of 1.8 PCF high-density (HD) polyfoam with an ILD of 20.
The support core is constructed from 2 PCF high-resilience (HR) polyfoam with an ILD of 36.
The cover is woven from a blend of polyester, viscose, and Lycra® spandex.
Addable mattresses have below-average price-points compared to comparable memory foam models.
Addable’s 181-night sleep trial is relatively long compared to the sleep trials offered by competing manufacturers. Additionally, customers can request 40 additional nights for a total of 221 nights.
Addable’s sleep trial includes a mandatory 30-night break-in period, which requires customers to test out their mattress for at least 30 nights before they can exchange it for a full refund. This may cause confusion with purchasers that don’t read the fine print.
Addable was founded in 2016, and the long-term performance of the company’s mattresses has not yet been assessed.
Addable mattress options are only available in a Medium Firm setting, which may be limiting for customers who prefer mattresses that are more or less firm.
Product and Price Range: Addable mattresses are available in five sizes: Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, and King. The prices range from $299.99 (Twin and Twin XL) to $649.99 (King). All Addable mattresses are manufactured in the United States.
Amazon rating: Addable mattresses are not available for purchase on Amazon.com BBB rating: Addable has not earned a grade from the Better Business Bureau.
How Is the Mattress Shipped?: Addable mattresses are compressed, vacuum-sealed, and shipped in a box. After unpackaging, owners should allow 48 hours for the mattress to expand to its full size and off-gassing odors to dissipate. Where Do They Ship?: Addable will ship mattresses to customers anywhere in the United States. At this time, the company does not offer delivery to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international addresses. Delivery Fee: Shipping is free for all standard deliveries.
Delivery Policy: The delivery policy for Addable is as follows:
Addable coordinates all shipments through FedEx Home Delivery services. Most customers receive their mattress within 10 to 14 business days; each purchaser will receive a tracking number as soon as their mattress ships from the Addable factory in North Carolina.
Purchasers can customize their mattress shipment using FedEx Delivery Manager. This free online tool lets them choose specific delivery time windows, reroute their package to an alternate address, request the mattress to be held at a local FedEx location, and provide detailed delivery instructions.
Old Mattress Removal: Because they utilize FedEx couriers, Addable does not provide old mattress removal services.
Availability: Addable mattresses are exclusively available on the Addable website. The company does not operate any brick-and-mortar stores, and Addable mattresses are not sold through any other retailers, including Amazon.com
